I think most homos who live in NYC and who are reasonably internet savvy are friends with Jeffery Self on facebook. We've never been formally introduced but we have been in many of the same rooms and bars. You may recognize him from the TV as he stars in a not-quite-funny comedy sketch program on LOGO.
Jeffery's true talent is his grasp of new media. He's a great example of how to use the internet for self promotion. It's kind of cool to watch an obscure southern gay kid make his dreams come true.
However, I'm not ashamed to admit that the only reason i give two shits about what Mr. Self is doing is because i want to stick it in his butt.
